We’re proud to share some exciting news: Stability Healthcare has been ranked the #1 travel nursing company in the country on BluePipes’ 2026 list of the Best Travel Nursing Companies. It’s one of the highest honors we’ve received in our company’s history, and it comes at the end of a year in which our clinicians told us loudly and consistently that our recruiters, our platform, and our support were working better for them than ever before.
What the BluePipes List Means
In case you’re not familiar, the BluePipes “Best Travel Nursing Companies” list has become one of the most trusted rankings in the travel healthcare industry. BluePipes has published it every year for the past decade, and it has earned that trust the old-fashioned way: by refusing to let agencies pay their way onto it.
Every travel healthcare company is eligible for consideration simply by virtue of being a travel healthcare company. There’s no application, no sponsorship, and no fee. Instead, BluePipes builds the list from the ground up using publicly available review data. They collect scores and review counts from five of the industry’s most trafficked review platforms: Travel Nursing Central, Facebook, Indeed, Glassdoor, and Google. This year alone, that meant aggregating nearly 230,000 individual reviews across more than 450 travel healthcare staffing companies. Doing this annually gives BluePipes the largest dataset of its kind in the industry.
BluePipes then runs those scores through a transparent, published scoring methodology which converts every review source score to a common 100-point scale, calculates each company’s aggregate average score, and applies bonuses or penalties based on whether a company’s scores improved or declined year over year. From there, BluePipes manually reviews the top-scoring companies to screen for fake or solicited reviews and confirms that every finalist clears minimum thresholds for review volume and recency. It’s a rigorous, numbers-first process which is exactly why agencies across the industry treat a high finish on this list as a meaningful signal, not just another marketing badge.
Our Journey to #1
This is actually our fifth appearance on the BluePipes list, and it’s been a meaningful climb. We first broke into the top tier back in 2021, landing at #4, the year BluePipes called us an “industry trailblazer” for pioneering a self-service, tech-forward approach to travel nursing that still paired every clinician with real, responsive human support. We returned to #4 again in 2022. This year, we finally reached the top spot.
We earned it through real, measurable improvement. Our aggregate average review score climbed from 88.26 to 92.49 across 1,026 total reviews, and we posted score increases on Indeed, Glassdoor, and Google. Our final score of 102.72 edged out the #2 and #3 companies on the list by less than a full point, a reminder of just how competitive this ranking has become and how much every single review matters.
More than the number itself, what means the most to us is what’s behind it: clinicians consistently telling reviewers that our recruiters are responsive, communicative, and genuinely invested in helping them through every step of an assignment. That’s the reputation we set out to build when we launched in 2009, and it’s the same thing we’re hearing from travelers today.
