Med surgical

What is your favorite part of being a travel healthcare worker?

Seeing new places and meeting great new people.

What is a place on your bucket list for a travel job?

I would like to continue working in Florida.

Tell us about your career history – how did you become a travel clinician?

I’ve been working in the health field for 40 years. I was a nursing assistant for 22 years and have been an RN for 19 years. I became a travel nurse just recently for the first time and I really enjoy the hospital and the people I have the pleasure of working with.

Have you found any sort of community while being a travel clinician?

This is my first time traveling in my nursing career, I rent a lovely cottage 20 minutes from my hospital. The town is quaint and charming with many cultural things to do.

What are some of your favorite hobbies and activities outside of work?

I really enjoy the beaches and going to great new restaurants. The music scene is really awesome too!

What do you always pack?

I always pack my bathing suits and flip-flops and my favorite cozy blanket and pillow.

Any advice for future travelers?

Stability has an awesome team of people who will always assist with any questions or concerns. If you like to experience new things, traveling is the best way to do that.

What are your go-to ways to relieve stress?

Go to the beach, or call family.
