What is your favorite part of travel nursing?
The best part of being a travel nurse is being able to choose where I want to work and the flexibility to extend my stay based on how much I enjoy the place.

What is a place on your bucket list for a travel nursing job?
Denver, Colorado

Tell us about your career history – how did you become a travel nurse?
After working for 14 at the same company and feeling very unappreciated and dispensable, I decided to leave. Despite being hesitant, the following week I started to work for a pool agency. Shortly thereafter I found traveling contracts and the rest is history.

Have you found any sort of community while travel nursing?
Along the way, I’ve met a lot of great people with whom I still keep in contact on regular basis.

What are some of your favorite hobbies and activities outside of work?
Social dancing, exercising (especially running), and spending time with my family.

What do you always pack?
My dance and running shoes.

Any advice for future travelers?
Take a chance! Starting something new is always intimidating at first because you never know what to expect. For me, it was a great decision!
