Tell us about your career history – how did you become a travel nurse?
I’m on my second assignment ever…. I’ve wanted to travel but had to wait until my kids were out of school.
Have you found any sort of community while travel nursing?
Well, I am on assignment with a friend from my hometown and when we are not working or traveling back home to see our husbands we like to tour the area.
What are some of your favorite hobbies and activities outside of work?
I love boating and fishing with my husband. But I like to do crafts such as glitter tumblers and glitter pens. By myself since I can’t convince hubby to play with glitter. Lol!
What do you always pack?
Laptop and my Kindle.
Any advice for future travelers?
Just do it! Don’t wait!
What are your go-to ways to relieve stress?
Crafting and reading.
