Meet Noemí! She is a Stability travel nurse that is based in Hawai’i and is just wrapping up her placement in Chicago. On her latest placement, she picked up ice skating and loves to challenge herself and get out of her comfort zone. We can’t wait to see where she is off to next!

Travel nursing has allowed me to enhance my profession and create meaningful connections.
What is a place on your bucket list for a travel nursing job?
Definitely would love to work in the West coast, California!
Tell us about your career history – how did you become a travel nurse?
I currently live in Kaneohe, Hawai’i but was actually raised in Illinois! This experience has been unique to me because travel nursing has opened the doors to visiting one of my home states. I decided to become a travel nurse because I wanted a more open and flexible schedule and to increase my income. Becoming a travel nurse came with doing research, having a great support system, and being confident in my skill set.
Have you found any sort of community while travel nursing?
The staff I work with on my current assignment have been an amazing community to work with. Not only have they made me feel welcome, they have done a great job at supporting me and other travelers!
What are some of your favorite hobbies and activities outside of work?
I decided to sign up for ice skating lessons while out here and it has been so much fun! I love hanging out with my family, friends, and my dog, Canelo. 🐕
What do you always pack?
Sunglasses are always a must!
Any advice for future travelers?
Take the leap! Travel nursing opens doors to enhance your career, explore new surroundings, and challenge your comfort zone. Make sure you have a strong support system to rely on and always put your best foot forward.
