Cytotechnologists use their knowledge of cellular morphology, anatomy, and physiology to analyze cells and make accurate diagnoses. They work closely with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive appropriate treatment. Cytotechnologists must have excellent analytical and observational skills, as well as attention to detail and a strong understanding of laboratory techniques and equipment.
