2022 Goals from Stability Nurses

CategoriesTravel Nursing

This January we reached out to several Stability nurses to hear about their goals for 2022. We’re constantly inspired by the Stability community and all that our nurses achieve. Need some inspiration for your own goals? Check out our blog post on goals for nurses from earlier this month!

Claire Montee

My professional goal for 2022:
1. Accept contracts in at least 3 new cities I’ve never been to before so I can explore different places and get out of my comfort zone.
2. Complete my CCRN and SCRN certifications.

My personal goals for 2022 include focusing on taking more time for myself and enjoying my time off so, they are:
1. Adopt a fun, new hobby or two that get me outside more and do them at least three times a week. I think bicycling or roller skating will be the first things I try.
2. Read at least ten real (paper, not electronic) books from cover to cover.

Alex and Calvin Diaz

Alex: Navigate through grief after the loss of my dad, live a healthier lifestyle, and travel more. Inform NICU mothers about the postpartum support international group which helped me so much when I experienced a significant amount of trauma in just 3 weeks right after the delivery of our 3rd child.

Calvin: Obtain my CEN or TCRN and travel to hospitals with higher levels of trauma. Travel to areas where we can enjoy nature while teaching/raising our three young children.

•Go on walks more often
•Officially change my last name because I got MARRIED last year. 🎉

Matthew Estes

My wife and I agreed on me travel nursing to help relieve some family debt that we have and we wanted to be able to take our kids on vacations that we normally wouldn’t be able to. I hope that 2022 helps me to continue to build on the skills I have and nurture new ones as I become a more confident and seasoned nurse. I hope to provide for my extended family in ways I normally couldn’t & look forward to family trips in 2022. With the opportunity at hand, I hope to provide college tuition for our three possibly more children and to retire at a younger age. Stability Healthcare reached out and helped me when other agencies weren’t helping me follow my dreams and you all have been phenomenal every step of the way.

My goals are to experience and help as much as I can as a travel nurse and my husband and I plan on saving to buy a home for our family!

Carey Mccartney

My nursing goals are to just walk into every day seeing my career as an opportunity especially in the world we live in, where a lot of people are stuck at home, and to be full of joy in doing so.

My life goal this year is to plan a kick-butt wedding with a joyful heart as well!!

Taylor Chester

My goals for 2022 are to make NP school a priority and to buy myself a house!

Carol Britman

I am going day by day and do my best

Rebecca Timo

1. Make a list of all the places I would like to be a nurse.
2. Remember what all of my beautiful friends looked like without faces full of masks and shields.
3. Continue my unwavering ban on social media.
4. Fly in for great visits with my family.

Sarah Carter

In 2022 I would like to vacation in Hawaii and find an assignment in California!

Mary Ellen Voth

Get more active and get back to the outdoors more. Even if I don’t get back to running, I need to spend more time outdoors: hiking, biking and walking. Oh my! Declutter my house. Purge!! Find my Grandfather’s hometown in Croatia. Got my flight booked! Oh one more thing, go to places I want to go to. Don’t do things strictly because it’s the right thing to do but because I want to. I just want to be happy. Only I can do that.

Taryn Easttom

Improve relationships with children, family, and friends. Be God‘s love without expectations. Build financial stability to improve the quality of life for my children as a single mom. Be a positive influence and a positive figure. Always be a strong vessel.
